This morning, with its lovely blue skies, tempted Willow and me to get out for an early walk. It was early enough that no dogs were at the dog park so we passed the time with some recalls. With nothing to distract her, it wasn't so much of a training exercise as it was treat time for Willow. Still, we both enjoyed it. The morning here is absolutely beautiful and warm with a hint of a cooling breeze.

All of her recalls were good. No other dogs and a pocket of kibble made it easy on Willow. Here's one, but they all looked the same.

Nice recall! Looks like a lovely day indeed. We are completely fogged in (for over a week now) and supposed to drizzle tomorrow. Typical May Gray at Southern California coast.

    Good girl Willow!
A lovely day to play at the park! I took Blueberry and Piper to meet a client (an animal lover who has cancer) and her partner. A great day to be out and about! Blueberry met her 2 weeks ago as well as their cat! DF652E4D-8A67-413F-A6D5-C7E8E7DCBAC6.jpeg 32CE6472-EB41-49DC-8BF3-0F000770D88C.jpeg 817C6E52-B6E3-442B-B128-BCBD5E565850.jpeg

Cute Blueberry shots with the kitty! Shelties overall just do really well with cats, I've found. All 7 of my lifetime dogs have lived with a cat.

Great recall Glen, Monty still chooses to ignore any recall except "do you want a look" but it's better than nothing haha.

Blueberry looks great and is so well behaved! Monty would have been jumping all over that cat lol.
