Has anyone paddled or kayaked with your Sheltie? I was wondering if the small space of a canoe, and the wide water would freak Shelties out. Of course I am planning on buying a life jacket for her. Any suggestions of type, or brands for a sheltie sized life jacket? She's 25-30 pounds. Thanks!

I’ve never done anything like that with my dogs but I’m pretty sure some members have. Sounds like fun!

I seem to recall Trini has a small lake either on her property or nearby and may have had some of her Shelties go out on the water.... hopefully she will weigh in. Have not done it myself.

Hey Jan, just thought I’d mention that when you quote a post (or hit reply) you can type your reply right below the post your replying to. No need to post a quote and then post your reply separately.:biggrin2:
