Shutterfly Share sites

    so I just got an email from Shutterfly that they will be discontinuing their share sites so after March 2023, they won't exist anymore.
    and why am I posting about that here?
    many of my older posts have links to my pictures on the appropriate Share site- Cranberry and Dixie shared one but Jocu and Destin each had their own- so every link to a picture on a Shutterfly Share site will not work in the future.
    I'm kind of bummed about this as I had thought back then that those pictures would always be available there:gaah:((:eek2::dead::rolleyes2::uhoh::mad1::no::ick

    Crapola! That sucks for sure. :mad: Can you move them into storage somewhere else or are these duplicates for you, just for sharing?

    I agree with Sharon about moving them if you can…maybe Imgur? And then while it’d be a bit of work you could go and edit the original posts with the new link….that’d be work but….

    This is disappointing. I've been annoyed at their site recently. I used to love Shutterfly and use it for everything but lately I can't even make the "print" option for photos work on any browser. Their customer service is unresponsive. I wonder if they're downsizing like so many other companies and reducing services.

    I think that might be the issue. I did get my Christmas cards made there but with no issues, I haven't had to deal with customer service..................

    the pix are digital somewhere on an sd card, hard drive etc so I don't need to download anything.
    I was mostly thinking about all my older posts with links to the albums on my share sites. I could link to somewhere else but that will be a lot of work to find and relink all the pix....... I do have over 10K posts:winkgrin:
