That is very nice of you to open your home Michele!

I am sure it will be a blast. You all will have to take lots of pictures.

I'm waiting also to hear from a professional photograher, she used to live a few houses up from us.

But I called and left a message,to ask her if she would or could come up that day,and just take a couple of good pics of the whole group..so we'll see.

I've done quite a few orders of baked items for her..maybe I can barter with her for a free cake next time.:wink2:

Wow Michele - what a fun event! I WANNA COME!! :biggrin2: Too bad I only live on the other side of the country! I've thought about calling the handful of people I know with Shelties for some kind of get-together.

I love the games idea. You all will have a great time, and I'm sure we'd all like to hear about it afterward.

Whatever will Earnhart think about all those Shelties???

Ah...I'm not sure! But I think he will handle himself ok.I'm worried mainly about the shelties really. And hoping they do not find him intimidating. He's had strange dogs here many a time, and has done quite well.

I'm sure if its really warm,he will find the comfort of the house for a good part of the day. He's all about staying as cool as he can.

I'm hoping the games will be lots of fun, lets hope all the owners can keep up with thier own dogs "tail wags & most barks"...we shall see!:biggrin2:

Popcorn catching..well Earine is a pro (not that I'm stacking any winners),but it will be fun to see who can keep up with him.

And we shall take lots of pictures no problem there.Ashley is sending via email a sketch for T-Shirts.As soon as she gets that done,we'll send it right off to the printers,so they will be done in time.

Michele, I am looking forward to Lexi meeting Earnie! Right now she is a bit fearful of big dogs--I think Earnie will be a big help. She has only met a few and both were very boisterous.

She will do just fine. And we shall make sure he is on best behavior, not a problem. So long as she allows him to approach and investigate a bit,all will be fine. He's a pussy cat!

Theres nothing to be feared with Earnie,he'll be curious I'm sure.Once he figures out they are not going anywheres,he'll be protecting them as he does the two we have. And take them all under his wing~

I wish you were not so far away either.

Oooooooooooh!!!

I am going to put in a 'maybe attending.' I live about 10 hours away, but I do have family not too far. And we do usually travel to see family over the break... how's about bringing said family? They have two friendly doxies (who do not have to come) and are contemplating a Sheltie for their next (one of the doxies is 14 and nearly deaf). The more the merrier?
