Barkley is going to have surgery tomorrow morning to remove a fast-growing tumor on his rectum. My vet said these are usually benign, but we won't know the prognosis for sure until it's tested after removal.

Naturally, we have a major snowstorm starting today with sleet and ice that will last through tomorrow until Tuesday morning, and my vet is 40 minutes away...not weather I would usually drive in, but the surgeon is coming from a distance and I don't think this can wait. Please send good thoughts for both of us!

Definitely not ideal conditions but of course you can't control the weather! Sending positive thoughts for a good surgery and outcome for Barkley! He'll be in good hands once there no matter the weather.

Will be praying for safe travels for you and Barkley, Ann, and for good news from his surgery. Will he be home with you tomorrow night?

Be safe Ann, we have had freezing rain most of today and it is a worry I am sure. Thinking of you and Barkley and hoping for a positive outcome.

Yes, I have to get there to get him tomorrow night because my vet has no overnight facilities. I'm hoping to pick him up in the afternoon before it's dark and the snow gets heavy.

Oh Ann, I was so hoping you would not have anymore health issues with your dogs or yourself for that matter.
Can your husband drive you? I hate those weather conditions! So stressful!
    Please stay safe out their!
Prayers and positive thoughts for Barkley!
