Three more sleeps and the Covid refugees are going home!

It will be exactly four months after we left home. The five fur kids and I are utterly exhausted, well maybe not Kismet, who is just bored Bored BORED!

Sadly, my work here is not done. Still have to finish clearing my brother's house and sell it. So we'll just head home for a month and come back before Xmas. It's going to be torture, travelling 15 hours with a screaming cat, and then having to do it all again in a month.

But it looks like locked borders are a thing of the past now we have high vaccination rates in Australia. All I have to worry about is being locked out by a bushfire!

This is the girls relaxing in the front yard of our temporary home for the last 4mths.

Oh god, I dont know why my photos appear here upside down or sideways, but I don't have the time to edit - so here's a view of the land downunder:biggrin2:

Love the picture Caro, it looks like the girls have really settled in there.
I always wondered if everything was upside down over there since you're on the opposite side of the world to me, I guess your photo proves it is :lol:

Really pleased for you that you finally get to go home, it's well overdue. I hope you all have a safe (and peaceful) journey and you're able to finally put your feet up and relax at home!

Glad you get to finally go home that is good news.I hope you don't find a mess when you get there. I agree with Darren that the pups look acclimated to their current surroundings. It's a really nice picture.
Safe travels as you head home. :)

Good luck and hopefully they will not recant their word on lockdowns in the near future.

Well, you certainly are "down under" in that picture, Caro! :ROFLMAO: What wonderful news that you can finally go home! Sorry you have to make another trip back...I hope the kitty is quiet for you at least. Drive safe and enjoy being in your own house at last!
