    My Story

    Meet Elegant and Cuddly Tibbi
Tibbi, spayed female, 6.5 years old, 24 Lbs.

Tibbi was born to be a show dog at a Sheltie Breeding Farm. The native parents were the award winners and so was Tibbi. From time to time, Tibbi attended contests as a standard elegant Sheltie to win lots of promotion and business for the breeder. When Tibbi got older, her glamour position was replaced by other younger Shelties. She is no longer valuable to the breeder and kept inside at the breeding farm. Her vocal cord was cut. Her fur became less shinny and matted. The pretty queen got lonely to forget what smile was. Tibbi no more got chances to come out of the kennel and play. She was locked and isolated from the breeze.

A year later, when Tibbi turned to six years old, the breeder decided to give up on her and asking if someone wanted to take her away. That was the time Tibbi got picked up by one of AHAN’s rescuers. When we met Tibbi, she was very skinny and shy. Under foster family’s intensive care, she gradually came out of the shell to get her glamour figure and sweet smile back. Tibbi is very gentle and well behaved. She walks elegantly, eats slowly, greets people from a distance and comes toward nicely. Tibbi likes to be around with dogs, by watching the dogs playing, she is content. After staying with the happy foster family, Tibbi likes human very much. She likes to follow foster parents and enjoy intimate cuddles. Tibbi is now waiting for a permanent loving home to call her own. A home with caring family members, has a green yard to play, walks her out daily and goes to parks often to enjoy the breeze. Great news! Hope she makes the plane flight overseas without too much trauma. The family on this side of the world will show her all the love and compassion she deserves!
    Thanks for letting us know!
