It is a gorgeous, autumnal day with brilliant blue skies and bright yellow sunshine and just a hint of chill in the air. Willow and I headed out for our morning promenade and she was good as gold until we got to the grassy hill we climb on the route back home when she decided it was playtime and so proceeded to herd my shoes and try to untie my laces. I saw a poor man hurry away along the path, probably losing a few years off his life. I'm sure he thought she was attacking for real as her enthusiastic growling and pouncing was epic. I try not to laugh at her but it is nearly impossible to avoid.

    Unrepentant, happy girl.

Upon returning home, I slipped off her harness and she ran into the living room to fetch a toy. She acted like she hadn't taken a step outside and was now ready to play.

All in all, it's probably a toss-up as to which of us is nuttier.

What a joyful day. It's hard not be infected by their enthusiasm, which is all to the good. Good girl, Willow!

I just love these photos and videos of Willow. They make me smile at a time when heaven knows we all need it. Thanks for sharing them, Glenn!

Ha ha, I get the same reaction from people with Kip! We were at the park, and Kip was growling and jumping on me (playfully) and this little girl watching was like “Why is he biting you? That’s not nice!” I explained that he was just playing

If she's good, she's a Sheltie to anyone who asks. If she's misbehaving, she's a miniature collie to anyone who asks. :):ROFLMAO:
