Oh man that seems really late for how far north you are! Nice photos, I'm sure Willow is happy with the white stuff. We are just starting to dry out here from our Floodmaggedon, we didn't have damage ourselves but the rivers and creeks were raging and one road over the mountains will be closed for a month due to rock and mud slides.

Winter has arrived here as well in the form of 12 inches of heavy wet snow- the worst heavy snow in the 40 yrs I have lived here. Our trees are suffering with branches down all over, on my shed, my back yard my yard and driveway-- I have had to restrict the shelties outside time to short periods because of falling branches and avalanches from the roof-- in fact one branch came down this afternoon that took up 1/3 of the back yard and would have wiped out any dog in its path-- so yeah curses to this winter storm. Shelties love the snow but not today or tomorrow or the next day--first time for everything..

We got a whopping inch or so, just enough to cover the grass. Dogs were nuts yesterday, then awake at 5 am needing to go out because of the snow they ate at 11 last night when they last went out. Been an interesting 'winter' - already thinking of my well for the upcoming summer....

I know about the well thing-- people on city water never have to worry for the most part but yeah will the well run dry or not is a real concern for us well-ers-- we are very water conservative here- very, but we do make sure the Shelties have all they want when they want it:)

The forecast is full of snowfall warnings. They are talking about a foot or more of the heavy white wet snow. Willow will be pleased. I think I shall shovel a few times so that I don't have to move the whole lot of it at one time.

Beautiful pictures Glenn! We’ve had incredibly mild weather (until today lol) for the past month and very little accumulation of snow. I was hoping it would last, the dogs have loved the nicer weather!

Teddy is absolutely estatic, We went out this morning to big wet packing snow and he had a great time. We only have a couple inches right now but it's still snowing, great big flakes :)
We came in because I was soaked, but I promised him we can go outside again after I change clothes and dry off. I feel like a 64 year old kid :)

Shelties love snow that's for sure-- all of ours have. Our female often just goes outside and lays in a snow bank, quite content. Unfortunately our heavy wet snow has been trampled into an uneven ice rink by the running of numerous Sheltie feet and so now is treacherous for all concerned-- I need my spikies to even walk out there and of course every toy in the house ends up outside and stays outside till someone- whose name will not be mentioned- goes out, risks life and limb to fetch them and bring them back in-- so they can be taken out again.....we live to serve.
