Good luck! Can't wait to hear how you do!
We have a trial next weekend (Friday through Monday) I'm doing Rally Excellent with Piper and Novice with Finnie...should be interesting with Finnie...he's always 2 steps in front of me, go go go lol.
Piper is in Utility as well of course and I hope and pray he gets it...only one leg needed and I'm done with Obedience with him (messing up too much)! Of course we'll continue with Rally.

    What a FUN weekend! :)

Flyer did great in Grad Open on Friday! What a dog. :) 194, and a little bitty woof on the go-out, but that was the single bark. Was so pleased. He lost 3 points on signals, 3 points on directed jumping - and ZERO on the gloves, moving stand and SCENT ARTICLES!!!! :D :D :D (1st place)

then on Saturday... very good boy again, the judge a little sharper with her pencil and he missed his article. OPPS. (NQ)

However, in Wild Card Utility, Justus did so nicely! A 191 for my great guy! Have this run on my friends I Phone and I hope she will send it soon. :) (1st place)

On Sunday both boys had RAE runs. Flyer first in Excellent, a little too exuberant and he hates me giving him orders... LOL.. 98. He rocked his Advanced run with a 100 and a 3rd. Took me by surprise! Justus was his silly barky self and broke the sit stay at the end! :0 84, I think... In Adv. still barky but better, 97. :) Nothing but green love for my boy which is ALL GOOD. (hearts and kisses)

Days were long, a strong storm came up on Sunday just after our run and the last few dogs in the class ran in ring lit up only by cell phone flashlights and a camp lantern! It was a little distracting for those last four dogs, one of whom earned a 100, and his RACH!!!! Some of you might know him, he's a famous Briard, Norman the Skateboarding Dog. (YouTube of him on David Letterman show, etc.) Was an interesting day. The power remained off, the club moved the ring after the storm to the far side and roll up bay doors so natural daylight was available for Intermediate. By Novice, the lights were back on and those dogs were on a course on mats, but no ring gaiting. Saw wonderful examples of good sportsmanship, no complaining and people applauding every team.

Sounds like you had a great time! Good job all around!
It's amazing how dog people pull together, you'd never see that in the general public!

Going to Greenville at 5:00 a.m. to show at 8:00. Flyer is in four classes, then we will high tail it back home for Sunday. He's entered in Versatility, Grad Open and RAE... Justus is going as a tourist and road crew. :D

I wish someone I knew had been there to video... it felt like a really nice rally run but we lost 3, a 97 and 4th place in Rally Excellent. Fun course!
In Rally Advanced we nailed it with a 100 and first place on time. :) Judge commented on what a cute boy Flyer is! I agree!

Versatility went very well, we got a nice order of exercises. Novice HOL and Recall, Open broad jump and ROF, Utility moving stand for exam and DR. We placed first with a 194. :) Versatility leg # 2.

Grad Open was last, six dogs failed and we were up... it was going soooo well I thought we might have this, but no. He never even put his nose down to check the articles - grabbed a leather and returned and there went my clean sweep. Hmpffff... inspite of that, I think I'll keep him. :D

Justus was a wonderful tourist and a good sport. :)

Next weekend it's one day of Grad Open for Flyer, Veteran's obedience for Justus, and Rally for Flyer on Sunday. We have 6 RAE legs and 2 of the scores we need for Excellent, hope to get the third qualifying score for Rally National next weekend! Showing to the Kincaid's locally.
