    Yes, of course he's adorable!

Unfortunately, he still sometimes thinks it's ok to jump up and check out the food in your hand, especially if I lean over... because he's really tall now, lol!

    I'm HUNGRY!!!

That's adorable, lol! Finn has decided to crawl on me, & lay in my lap, until I ask "what are you so snuggly for?" To which he clacks* at me, jumps up, and heads towards the kitchen, where he eats, lol. *We say "clack" because its not a bark...its quiet except you hear his teeth clack...

Well, if anyone has any good ideas on how Finn and I can meet other Shelties, I'm up for it! So is he! :)

Dog Park Meet & Greets, Ventura, CA

I do take the advice, truly. We've had some iffy dog park experiences over the past 12 years or so, that I've lived in Ventura. The post was kind of a call out, because there are a few Shelties nd their owners here in Ventura, and I'd like to meet up! I found that during the middle of the day...

Dog Park Meet & Greets, Ventura, CA

Hello all! We've been trying to socialize Finn, and so we're going to the dog park a lot. I'm planning on posting here whenever we're going to go to a dog park, because if some of you can make it, I'd love to meet up with other Sheltie owners! If anyone has an idea of another park to go to...

    Hi there!

Lol! Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry about the card! :( But man, what a chewer! Lol! Ok, so Bowser most horrible chew, was actually the evening he ate some vanilla Tums (antI-acid) from my work bag....which was with my caffeine pills...which he ate too! My oops of leaving it within reach was a...

Very scared and unusual sheltie Puppy

Train. At 5 months my boy is still a scaredy...but I can distract him by making him do his tricks. Also, he is very "den" minded. He loves to hide in dens, and prefers to nap in dark hidey places. I bet your pup would love a nice hidey spot! Then train to do tasks outside of spot!

How much do you pay for dental cleaning? Sandstorm's estimate is $750 to 1200, have to cancel

Totally area, and amount of work to be done..and anesthesia per pound! But yup that's way high! We brush 3 dog-mouths every single night :) its about 100 bucks a year for those supplies, which is actually pretty good. I love the vanilla mint enzymatic paste!

    High fiber anti-anal gland treats?

Try giving carrots as treats. Works great! Do same amount each day. Also, just express them once a month. Keeps the channels clear, and it keeps them super clean. My Bowser has the best glands, bc I've done this since he was little. I do it a little sooner than a month, otherwise I can smell...

    Housebound due to fires

Hi!! We drove to Eastern Oregon, from Ventura. Sooo far, lol! The roads were really clear, and we arrived Christmas eve at my parents'! Finn has not wanted to come in from the snow, since! My in-laws say the fire and smoke isn't so bad for them now, back home. We bought a sled today, to go with...

    Hi there!

Oh my goodness! Annabelle sounds like finn a LOT lol. It's really strange I really don't get the feeling that he's going to go to that teenage thing considering he's doing it a lot right now! I I hope! Okay, top two things that Annabelle destroyed and ....go! Bowser's Terrible chews where my...

    Will he always give hugs?

Finn is rediculously adorable...when we wake up, or he first sees me, he runs, and gets on my chest, and on-purpose puts his paws around my neck, growling and giving me kisses, and nuzzling my ears. I'd never be able to teach him this, but its just heart-melting! He doesn't know what "hug"...

    Proper tip gluing?

Wow, I didn't even know about this. I thought they were all born with floppy ears and my Finn was weird for having one up, one down!! At what age are they too old for this to work? Finn is 5 months. Will I be seen as an improper Sheltie owner bc of his ears? Lol, seriously! :)
