    Our pretty Faelee

Just in here after an absence, and reading about your losses. So very sorry. Losing them quickly is hard to accept.

    Survey - your dog's nicknames?

Tilly's nickname is Bean. Usually run together - TillyBean. When she finds a patch of sunlight streaming through a window, and lays there to sun herself, she's my BakedBean, and when she's hopping from chair to couch to chair in the living room, she's my JumpingBean.

    Riley had a seizure :(

I was there to comfort April as well when they happened while I was around, but while the seizure's going on, there's no response from them to your comforting. They're inches from you, and not there.

    Riley had a seizure :(

April went through a period of about 3-4yrs where she experienced seizures, if I recall correctly roughly 4-6 weeks apart. Hers were more like this one (this isn't her, just similar seizure) ( ). It's gut wrenching to see your loved one going through this, and knowing they're not there to...

    Sansa has bladder stones

Tilly had problems back in Nov/Dec, went on antibiotics then, but early Jan, they showed back up again, and x-rays showed about 5-6 stones. Had an operation to remove them, and is now on a food that is formulated for these conditions. Hopefully things won't return. Hope things have gone...

    Anyone experienced with huskies?

No experience other than having taken one for walks with Chelsea different times. Princess was a Husky that lived beside the park where I took Chelsea for walks. Every so often Princess would break off her tie-out chain, and come for a walk with us. The two got along quite well considering...

    Chelsea - 10 years

10 years today, a wild and crazy girl had to leave me. Every year since, on the 20th, I've gone to where her ashes are, and touched the ground, and talked to her. She was a character. The Chase was Everything to her. 2 legged, 4 legged, things with wings, mountain bikes, it didn't matter...

    Poo eating

April would in the winter, particularly if she'd had apple treats beforehand. Mmmmm, frozen chocolaty Turdles.

Has anyone adopted an "older" sheltie?

All my girls have been older, I've never had a puppy. I don't know what it's like to train a puppy. Chelsea was 18mths, and I was her 4th (and forever) home, she took 5mins to look around the place the first day, hopped up on the couch, then to the back of the couch, laid down and looked at...

    Tilly

The Tilly girl, enjoying a walk tonight. And it turns out, she enjoys mud every bit as much.

    Not really a Hello,

That's my little girl. :-) She's darker now, but a total cutie patootie. Have a pic of her in her kennel, but she's trying her hardest to make it look small. She's made big steps over the last couple of days. When Chelsea came to me, 5 mins after getting her home the first day, she hopped...

    Not really a Hello,

But a chance to say that after 9 hard months since April's leaving, there's a new heartbeat around home. Am/Can Ch. 'Truespirits Chantilly Lace' (Tilly) has come to me as a companion. 4 years old, and she's a looker. Just picked her up on Saturday past, so we're still adjusting, but we're...
