Can't wait to see that-- are they Shelties bossing the old folks around, nipping at their heels, scolding them for not having supper in the dish? Or are they showing their lapadoor retriever side?

I like the pillow much better than the collars, We have used them for both dogs and cats. He must be very flexible to get at those stitches but the pillow is the best way to go IMHO.

Never heard of that before your post but guess it is genetic. It probably stresses joints a bit more than normal but maybe the vet can assess how much or if exercise should be limited... or not. In humans it is called valgus knee alignment or knock-knees (genu valgum),

Looks like quite a large incision, glad Teddy is rid of the problem and doing well. At least he won't have to wear the dreaded collar for that wound.

Glad things are on the mend and what a support group you have -- that's so great. I love the ball of fur picture- another whole sheltie there. Ours are just starting the Fall blow and we about to get a bag to keep it for next springs bird and squirrel nests... Shelties are 80% fur I swear.

Hey Pico, sooo sorry man, humans have no respect and they have no/zero sense of what smells good. You will never understand them they are a puzzle, no one can figure them out. Just go to your happy place while they torture you and get ready for the treats afterwards..... This too will pass.

That looks like my crew, both love the fan almost more than food, well food first but soon back infront of the fan... Shelites vote it one of the truly great inventions by two leggers.

I hate those bumps in the life of a Sheltie- very nerve wracking. Does it move when you try to move it or is it attached to the tissue beneath it? Even tho the tail is a pretty tight place, if movable it is more likely to be a cyst or fatty lump etc.

My female used to be that way when younger - less than 2 yrs- she was a chewer of the first order- from fit bits to electrical cords and I would find pieces of who knows what or where it came from in her poop. After 2 she pretty much has outgrown it but still occ find stuff her mouth?? Good on...
