Missing Shelties Posting Rules and Information

Please read these instructions.

There are a variety of ways Shelties can go missing, and the circumstances surrounding some of these cases can involve ongoing legal issues between private parties that should not be hashed out or speculated upon in our open discussion forums.

It's also easy for missing Sheltie alert threads to become lost amongst the volume of other information shared in the forums.

Sheltieforums.com does want to provide an appropriate avenue for members seeking help in locating their animals, whether lost, stolen, or lost track of, so we're offering this forum for that purpose.

A few rules:
  • NO ACCUSATIONS -- If you're stating or hinting that someone did something unethical or criminal, there should be NO identifying info about that person in your post--handle the specifics privately. General locations related to the dog's potential whereabouts are OK.
  • All threads require moderator approval -- Submit your thread like you would for any other forum, but it won't appear immediately. It will be reviewed before being posted in the forum.
  • Provide a clear, helpful thread title -- Your thread title is what people will see when they open this forum, so make it work for you!
  • Provide the appropriate contact info -- You can have interested parties contact you via Private Message or email through your profile, or provide contact information in the post itself. If you choose the latter, remember that the information is available to the public at large.
  • If you are not a premium member, email a clear photo of the missing Sheltie to [email protected] so the Admin can post it for you.

Sheltieforums.com is not responsible for the content of posts on this site, and we reserve the right to remove or amend content at any time.

We hope this forum is helpful in fostering some reunions. Please update your thread to let readers know if your Sheltie has been found!

Good luck!
