1st leg of our CD!

Oh. My. Dog.
Hunter and I just earned his 1st CD leg with a 197.5 and took home the blue ribbon!!!
The 2nd place dog was a 181.5, 3rd 176.5 and 4th 171.

We lost 1.5 pts for 3 forged sits and .5pt on the fast time off leash heeling because Hunter got 'bouncy' and another .5 pts on the finish after recall because his little butt was behind me instead of being square at heel.
The judge pulled me, only me, aside after the awards and told me "You have a really nice dog there. Watch the forging on the sits. Without those, your run would have been a 199." !!!!!!
We have 2 more classes this weekend, gonna shoot for legs 2 and 3 and get that title!!!! Wish us luck!!
 
That was absolutely outstanding!

I am so impressed by what you've accomplished. I've always wanted to take my dogs to the next level, but find that my work doesn't allow me the time from training.

But I always swell with pride when I see our Shelties so well represented.
