3 month female Fairfax County Humane Soc. VA

The owner of this puppy didn't want her so took her to the vet to be euthanized. The vet thought differently. If you live in Virginia and want a sheltie puppy well here is one that sounds simply adorable. No picture yet.
I think she will be adopted quickly.

Found out it was too much "trouble" to look after it. I feel so back for that little puppy.

Something seems very weird about that whole thing. First of all, if she took the dog to the vet to be euthanized, why did the vet send her from North Carolina to Virginia? I'm sure there's Sheltie rescues in NC, not to mention how easy it would be for the woman or the vet's office to sell the puppy to someone. Very strange indeed. I think something is missing in this story. Nonetheless, I'm sure this puppy will find a great home.

What the heck is wrong with people!!!!??? This makes me so mad, 3 months old and just starting to live... a little puppy. I can only imagine the look on the vets face when the owner said I don't want her, put her down. I would have socked this dummy in the nose. Just can’t figure these people out, heartless. The good thing is, this little girl sounds so sweet, and I’m sure she find a good home quickly.

This vet many have had some personal connections (in rescue) with the folks in Virginia. I’m from PA but the rescue connections I have, and really TRUST, are out of state, and I would call these folks first if I was looking to place this puppy. None the less, Keelie is in good hands, and will surely fine a good home.
