7yr. old sable male in WA

Oh, my Laddy sounds like a wonderful boy.(and he is very handsome, too) Hope he can find a loving, fur-ever home by Christmas, or sooner. I am praying he does.

Possibly, one of our state of WA forum members knows someone looking to adopt a sheltie?

ps So sad he has to leave his family of 7yrs. He did not do anything wrong.(not his fault the baby is allergic) Laddy must be so confused as to where his people are.

I hope so too.

I think my parents are going to visit him today. Will let you know if they send me any more info on him (they live closeby; I do not, lol).

That is very nice of your folks to go and visit him. Thank you for any updates on him. He is still on my prayer list for a fur-ever home for Christmas or before.

Apparently he has been adopted and returned several times. The last owner had him for two years, and then they put him in the shelter when they had a baby that proved allergic.

The shelter is not actually offering him for adoption yet, as he needs a lot of dental care (they said his teeth were horrible).

And there is another Sheltie there (that was unknown to us before my parents inquired about Laddy) that they "are holding" - they said she is a senior and is in "very rough shape" :(

I so wish we still lived in WA! I'd scoop him up in a minute!!! He's adorable, and will no doubt find his furever home quickly!!!

mom said he was adopted the first day he was available :)

she also told me that there is a rescue that particularly looks for older dogs that took the older sheltie in.

That is great news for both the dogs.

Thanks so much for the current update and for your's and your Mom's concern.
