A great day for shelties!

Yesterday we went to watch day 2 of the 'Travel the World' dog show in Abbotsford, BC which from my understanding is one of the larger dog shows in Canada. We of course had to watch the shelties and then the herding group! What a great day for shelties because it was almost a clean sweep at group with best of breed, best puppy, best brace and best bred by exhibitor, then on to win best in show and best brace in show! We only knew a couple of the dogs being shown (none of the winners) but it was wonderful to watch such a big class for best of breed, and see so many nice dogs. We also enjoyed checking out the different vendors although my husband is still shaking his head about the pants for dogs stand, wondering why anyone would want to put sparkly underwear on their dog!:lol:

Sounds like a real sheltie day, we don't often get group winners here in the UK (though there have meen more this year) so that is a great achievement for the breed,:biggrin2:
 
"Snicker" Fancy pants are made for bitches in heat... you buy pads for them... just like us girls... so they won't stain carpets and furniture when they sit.

Gee, I wonder if sitting down and explaining that to my husband will change his mind, I can just see his hands on his ears going NA na na na...!:lol:
