Hi,

I have a 4 months old female sheltie. She has been on Acana for Puppy and Junior. Since then, her poop is also firm then liquid at the end. She eats really fast so I'm giving her now 4 meals a day rather than 2. There are some improvement but it is still an issue.

She did ok when on Purina Pro Plan so I believe Acana is just too rich. It could also be an intolerance to poultry as mentioned mcemily. I am going to try a sample of Acana Pacifica (fish) to see how it goes.

So Darcy has been on this new diet and it has been working out great for him so far fingers crossed.

Roger- How much are you feeding your pup? If it's too rich you should cut the amount.

"Too rich" is language that actually means "my dogs gut can't handle it yet". Keep working the variety, and soon, "richness" is no longer an issue. My dogs can eat literally anything without digestive upset.
