my pup (4 mo) has been really good about people, but terrified of other dogs. i didn't push the issue while he was younger. he showed some interest in a toy breed at the park last weekend. took him to obedience class last night to meet some well-behaved dogs, and he was nervous at first, but was doing really well by the end of the night. he doesn't always want to visit, but at least he isn't fleeing from the sight of them anymore!
