Agility run-thru

I don't know handling yet, and Justus doesn't have weaves yet... but we don't let that stop us from attending the run-thrus. This is our 2nd Saturday of practice/play and by jove, I think he's getting it! I however, need lots of work!

Really nice! I think Justus has got it down pat!

I do have one recommendation--if you can, try not to run him past/around/through the weaves if he isn't going to be successful. The more he runs past them, the more he thinks it's okay to run past them. Usually I try to come up with a little workaround that involves jumps around the weaves when doing a run through.

You are so right! That is advise I will heed. I had no intention of asking him ... but out of my mouth it flew, and I wanted to see what he would do with it. He got the entrance, and I'm glad - but we aren't doing closed poles yet!

I will go back to running by - I'll duct tape my mouth if need be!

And... when I walked the course, I didn't have those rear crosses in mind! Somehow I ended up on the wrong side of the dog walk and ... can I get a do-over?!
