Amber got her first bath for 2016

Today it was 84* in south jersey. So my wife and I got the shampoo towels and the hose and of coarse Amber to the back yard. We bath her on top of the patio table. It is easier on our backs and knees (72/74 years old). A few years ago I installed an out door faucet with hot and cold water. Amber behaved very well during her bath. We each took a bath towel and dried her as best we could. Then we let her shake the rest of the water off. After she was done shaking she did some zoomies and stopped and rolled in the grass.:gaah YA gotta love them,their so darn cute.
 
"You gotta love em', I totally agree! At least Amber rolled in the grass and not the dirt! And I think Sheltie zoomies are the best! :lol:
 
wet and wild

my lil monsters are getting submerged today. With warmer temps and a bit of a blustery wind. They are gonna get sudsy to combat the gym gamey smell that both have lately. I love how being clean gives way to zoomies. it is adorable. Like they can run off the fresh scent:lol: and leave it behind.

I like to believe they just feel so good after a bath that zoomies are the only way to express it....my dogs don't believe that, but I like to ;)

my monsters got walked, came home and got washed, scrubbed, nails clipped, a brief zoomie experience to get the air rush through that clean fur, then it was lunch & fortune cookies because I stopped for chinese. Now they are both curled up on their fleeces snoring. Happy day in woofville.

That is a good day full of fun. I love the night of a bath, they're so extra snuggly.
 
Yep they are characters. The Royal Highness will be getting hers tomorrow.
"G" I just can't wait. LOL! That was a great idea to run hot and cold outside.

I am doing a table also, Lil' Lady needs a trim, poop chute and all.

Amber I know your looking great.
