This Sunday Jordan will be doing her first AKC show which means the first time doing weaves and all the contact equipment(last show she just did USDAA Jumpers)!
Up until Tuesday, Maverick hadn't done the A Frame full height because they've been training a running A Frame and our trainer didn't want to move it up too fast and wanted to get his stride correct first. Every week we'd come and she wouldn't want to move the A Frame up because his stride seemed off and occasionally he'd miss the contact area altogether. Well this past Tuesday, she nervously started moving it up, one notch at a time. Well wouldn't you know it, Maverick's stride got BETTER AND BETTER each time she raised it! As with the teeter, it seems that every time we raised it, he pays more attention to what he's doing because of the height I guess.
So this Sunday we'll get to see if it was a fluke or not
