Anyone coming to events in North Alabama?

I notice there is two events (different organizations) and might go check out some SheltieCross. A fellow from work is involved in the one and says you can attend free and bring your dog though puppies are discouraged. He said I could likely sneak Sca in as the rule was to discourage people selling puppies (Sca is a bazillion % not for sale). The other is tomorrow and just up the road from me though I have no details to speak of. It would be cool to see some members Shelties while I check things out.

Wished I live near you to check it out butit would be a drive from conn. I am tho doing a USDAA trial with Shadow.

This weekends is AKC any tips on things to look for and watch? I am pretty sure we are going to puppy class and continuing across town to see the SheltieCross a bit. Although there is a risk that Sca the jumper will get ideas from his elders and come up with new attacks on me

It was interesting. Sca enjoyed most of the dogs but the fleet of barking Cocker Spaniels unnerved him a bit. Otherwise he was interested and got a few pets and sniffs. He was really well behaved though between that and puppy class he was so tired I had to carry him to the car. Personally I think he would be pretty good at Sheltie cross but his sheep needs to lose some 'wool' before he starts to train
