has any one used AvoDerm dog food for your babies? it is slightly cheaper then Blue Buffalo and just wondering if any one has used it and if you would recommend it? Gizmo does really good on blue buffalo (well except we think he may have a lamb sensitivity) but the breeder that helped me find him fed her shelties AvoDerm, she said that it helps with the dry air here in UT. we are looking into getting a Great Pyrenees and think we may try the AvoDerm (because it is still a good quality food but slightly cheaper then BB) and if it works well, we may switch Gizmo over to it, too. but i just wanted to know what others know about it first.

we used Avoderm immediately after the TOTW/Diamond recall- it was readily available and no negative issues that I could find on the internet.
my vet said he likes it and pups didn't seem to have any issues.
just check the ingredients- not all formulas have a meat protein as the first ingredient.
some people have issues with the avocado in it- doubt that it's really a problem.
