Maybe the whole blasted thing is her reacting to me. The time she trudged before so badly, she and I were both sore from Agility 2 days before. The night I did the little video my knee was great and I wanted to look good for my family friend who was observing and filming. This Tues. night I was incredibly sore because I took my cousin & her son to Disneyland for his birthday. Disneyland was WAY too much for my knee (and most of my other muscles!). Maybe a lot of it is her picking up on the clues from my feet/limping. Maybe my gait being bad throws off her closeness to moving with me. I don't know. She is either on or off, hot or cold. Not pulling, just out of sink sort of lagging, wandering away, not watching me, dawdling, trudging rather than prancing.
How do you practice for something that is stunningly perfect during practice and hideous when it counts?
