We had Bandit for seven months. He came in at 48 lbs and we got him down to 32 lbs. He still has joint issues which his new Mom says she's going to have a specialist look at. Bandit is certainly a ladies dog and he should like being in a home with a nice retired lady who can give him lots of attention. We'll check up on him and we hope she keeps us updated on Bandits progress.

Hip hip hooray! What a sweet looking guy. I just shake my head when I read stories like Bandit's. Thanks to the vet who refused to put him to sleep Bandit now can live the rest of his life in a loving home. Congratulations on the weight loss.

So many people here in Texas treat dogs like livestock. It angers me and physically hurts me...leaves a hole in my tummy and in my heart. I've seen some poor dogs in terrible conditions....

I don't understand it at all.

Yay for Bandit.

Oh what a beautiful boy he is! Congrats on getting that weight off.

I'm so delighted for you all that he has a new home.

But after 7 months, I don't think I could have given him up. I'm not a very good foster mom. I want to keep them ALL!!!!
