Best seminars?

[2GoodDogs]

It is time we have another obedience seminar around here! Laura Romanik is coming in November, a part 2 to last year's Nuts and Bolts. I am eagerly awaiting!

Who have you been to recently, and would you recommend our club hosting them?

[Chris]

Ask me in a few weeks. I'm going to a Julie Desy seminar and a George Alston one.

For agility, Jennifer Crank is an amazing presenter.

Desy and Alston are conformation handlers, thank you, but I am looking for obedience presenters.

Usually I attend seminars where the presenter has trained and trialed their sheltie. Laura Romanik tops my list as far as knowledge of the breed. Judie Howard has trained and trialed with a sheltie. Linda Koutsky's training program is based on her former sheltie. I have set my sights on attending a Lori Douin seminar if she comes anywhere closer to me than Florida, I'm in Maryland.

Ive been very lucky to have attended Judie Howard, I hope she will come back!

Some of you are lucky enough to get Sylvia Bishop.

Thanks for Koutzky and Dourin suggestions, I will add them to the list.

Lynn Heidinger was one of the best seminars I have been to, but I heard she is doing agility now.

How could I have forgotten about Sylvia Bishop??? She's high on my list for a repeat auditor spot.

My mistake, it's Lori Drouin, I forgot the "r".

[2GoodDogs]

I knew she had a "r" but was too lazy to go look it up.

She writes some good articles for Front and Finish, another seminar that I hope will come near here.

Bridgett Carlsen is out on the seminar circuit, would like a review of her.
