Just a fun video from run thoughs last night. I had them video tape me as I could not figure out why I was getting a spin over the third jump of a 4 jump serpentine going either way. Turns out my dog is smarter than me. 
I actually didn't realize what I was doing but I was given him the wrong command for the 3rd jump. I was telling him to turn. Which I thought(why I don't know)meant turn away from me and take the next jump in that situation. What it actually means and what I trained was "turn" means turn away from me and I will turn behind you(rear cross is coming). I slowed down the video and it was plain as day. Duh. I started to turn my shoudler before I said turn and Birch start to turn, he was actually already wrapping the pole. Light goes on OMG I am so stupid. So the next time though(no video because the camera person didn't know how to keep the dog in the frame
) I ran it right , kept my shoulder straight and told him "out" which amazingly put him on a line for all 4 jumps. Yep we are supposed to be the smart ones.

As you can see Birch is doing quite well. His weave entries are getting better.(when we ran it backwards, he hit the left sided entry both times too).His handler is learning. Still late in serveral places and a bit sloppy. However, I am moving faster thanks to 35 lbs being gone.
