Biting....

I got a very large rawhide bone for Laddie last week, that little shaver has already eaten the top of it off, man, his teeth are sharp, he is really the chewer.
 Rawhides with Ruutu only last a week if that. Those are usually the big braided ones too :o he lovvvveees to chew his rawhides.

We have rawhides all over the place with three dogs, but they all want the same one at any given moment. They're worse than kids. :wink2:

 Yep! That's a fact! Example: Kid has the runs, and the parent's don't think anything of it. Dog has the runs, "OH NO!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BABY?!"

That's because we feed our four-legged children better than the two-legged kids. When was the last time you let your Sheltie chow down on corn dogs, cotton candy and twizzlers and super-sized fries? :wink2:

Maybe if you let your kids eat a squirrel now and then ... ooops, wrong thread.

What is it with that? Mine are the same way. Drives us crazy! We always reassure them the their bones are just as good as the others, but nope- all want the same one. OR- they must have ALL of the bones at the same time.

I tired a different kind of chew toy yesterday. I bought this really heavy braided rope with tassels at each end. Well, guess what, he has eaten the tassels, so, Steve cut off the remaining threads now all that is there is the heavy braided rope, he does not really like it as much as the rawhide bones though, so, we shall see what happens, he still likes our clothes the best.

Yes, I have to do the same thing with my dog's ropes. Otherwise I may find blue, green, red, or purple poo! When one of them had gotten worn I cut the knots off and used them for training puppies to play fetch. It worked much better than a tennis ball and the pups loved using them for teething toys.

My first two dogs, Dusty & Libby would trade each other's treats all the time. Sparky will steal Daisy's ice cube because he thinks it's better than the one he just got, lol. We have to separate them with the real treats and food because Sparky wants his stuff and Daisy's as well.
