She has some issues that I stem to resource guarding- although the pattern just doesn't make sense to me.

To me, it sounds like your girl is entering her adolescence. She's just at the right age. You've given her a good foundation of skills, so she'll probably be just fine once she gets past that rebellious stage.

Could be right, she could be just sassing you with that lip, does she get a reaction out of you when she does it?

Since you don't know her background I'd go very gentle and slow, it really does sound like she was way over her frustration threshold.

Frustration's a good word. Could she be exhibiting that uncontrolled craziness that some adolescent Border Collies show? What else does she do when she does this - does she throw herself around as well? It's just I've seen quite a few adolescent BC at flyball training like this. Sounds like you are doing the right thing and moving her away until she calms down.
