Breeders that specialize in blue merle's ?

Breeders don't really "specialize" in colors... there are so many other important factors to consider when breeding! But, because of the way color inheritance and the Standard work, Sheltie breeders tend to have either sables or "AOACs" (that stands for "any other allowed color", and means blacks and blues).
The best way to find a breeder is to contact your local ASSA member club. Start here, at the ASSA website. If you scroll down, you will see the Midlands Shetland Sheepdog Club (based in Lincoln), and a link for the email of the club's contact person. Ask for breeder referral and let them know what color, age, and sex you are most interested in. They'll be able to connect you with responsible breeders who have puppies available.

We adopted our Timmy -- a biblack -- from a breeder that does indeed specialize in biblacks. The woman spent years researching bloodlines before adopting her first sets of Sheltie parents in an effort to breed stunning biblack showdogs. She has succeeded. We went through the ASSA.org website -- American Shetland Sheepdog Association to find breeders. We now only adopt through rescue, but Shelties are beautiful and loving no matter where they come from. Best wishes in your search!! Post pics after you've found you new fully friend!!!
