Bringing Puppy Home

Hi,

So I couldn't wait any longer and found the sweetest male Sable pup- bringing him home today. Excited! Been awake since 4:30 this morning in anticipation- foolishly I know...because it's going to get busy.
Start puppy classes soon too...found a great trainer who has agility classes for herding types later on too.
Now to get those photos at the breeders house on the computer..
 
You are soooo lucky!! Take tons of pictures. They grow up very fast! How old is the puppy? Names?
 
Ooo that's so exciting! I don't think it's foolish, I remember not being able to sleep the night before picking up my sheltie. You seem well prepared and no matter how tired you are, I'm sure you'll find energy to spare with a pup around :lol:

We know you'll be too busy to post today -- that's for sure! But we'll all be waiting to see pictures of little what's-his-name. :lol:
 
Louie is home!

I thnk the name Louie is winning out...he's answering to Louie! Will post pics when I figure out how...he is 8 weeks today, and I can let him visit with his mom...he will visit his littermates again on Tuesday...

He slept with us lastnight in the crooks of arms and elbows...stretching his time in exercise pen when we aren't playing together. Will start introducing crate - ours is a tad big. He is a sweety.

Aww that's so exciting! I like the name too. Looking forward to seeing those pictures! Sounds like you have it all planned out. He's going to be one great Sheltie
