cooked bones can splinter thats why mine get raw.
I guess we cant say the p-word on this sight
the bones my dogs get are I think part of the leg? I am not sure they are about 12 inches long 1 inch diameter. they only eat the ends off though not the whole thing.

EW! I didn't know that 'bully bones' were EXACTLY that!

There are products out there, that dissolve the tartar. You add the liquid into their drinking water. I've never used it, but have talked to people that have used some products like that and they said it worked for them. You might want to do some research on the net and find out. There was a liquid that my vet recommended too, but I just cannot remember the name. It was all natural, mainly enzymes. I will post it if I remember it.

I used two different types with Bacca - Oxyfresh and Susie's Tartar Liquid. It was hard to tell if it was doing any good because his teeth were so bad. I haven't started Bacca on it yet because his adult teeth have only just come in, but I'm going to start now.....
