Hello
I saw to puppies that I like the most, and I can not choose between them.
I liked their personality and now the thing the will be the difference is their appearance.

I am looking for small and full of hair sheltie, prefer light and not dark brown.
The mother is taller then the father, and also her color is darker.
I am looking to the puppy that will look more like the father.
I post some pics and hope maybe you can help me little bit.

Will post more pics later

Welcome her to SN

I would not be for much help because I most love the dark brown

But I can not see your pic - I love to see pic. :biggrin2:

They are both very cute pups...they look fairly big, do you know how many weeks they are? They look like they're older than 12 weeks. I can't help you decide which one to pick as size and colouring can change as they grow. I would however advise that you make sure that the breeder tests the parents for Von Willebrande's disease and if they give you any reason that it's not necessary to go somewhere else, also make sure you have some kind of health guarantee (above and beyond any testing they do). Perhaps I'm wrong but something about the pups size and state of facility makes me think puppy mill (although I could be wrong) so just make sure that they are a reputable breeder who shows their dogs, does genetic testing on parents and offers a health guarantee.

Oh yes I forgot to mention they are 13 weeks old. About the place, it's imported mother with a father from a breeder. They decide to grow them at their home but the breeder takes all the responsibility and the tests.

I can now open links using a new tab (if others have the same problem)

Piper's mother gives you so great advice

I really share her concerns.

Go for personality and the pup liking you. I had my heart set on a Blue Merle with dark eyes when I got Sca who was a Tri with almost no brown. He was a FABULOUS dog! Wonderful personality and so happy all the time. Try two was the same goal and I got Spitfire who is a Sable. He was perfect company for Sca and despite making me want to strangle him at times is a great dog and my buddy (we were sleeping in this morning despite my plan of early up LOL). Try three is Angus who is a Blue Merle but with blue eyes LOL. He is a happy bouncy guy and great company for Spitfire.

So the point is color doesn't matter go for personality that matches you.

Definitely go for personality! When I got my first shelite I was heart set on the female blue merle in the litter. I had always wanted a blue merle and she was beautiful and I loved the pics I got of her from when she was only a few days old until she was 10 weeks and I went to meet her. I met her and knew she was just not right for my family, she showed little interest in me, was timid and so on. My younger son fell in love with a very hyper bounce bi-black BUT we came home with a TRI! Shadow, the tri we brought home, was my heart dog. And my older son's as well. He won us over with his calm, happy, and welcoming personality. He never changed, he was calm at home from day 1 and stayed that way.

For my current dog, I thought I wanted a tri but lo and behold I have a sable (a red sable) and he is a good fit because he is so unlike Shadow, that we never feel we replaced him. Beau drives me nuts (he is another orange maniac like Sheep's Spitfire) but he is a love, a complete love, and super super smart.

Personality is everything...and a nice face :) I think you can learn to love whatever color the coat is on the dog that loves you!
