CanAm 2013

The person announcing at the moment is Pam Martin.. the person who we went to for training. Hearing her voice is kinda making me cringe lol. Especially because apparently there was a sheltie racing, so she kept saying "Sheltie". Apparently said sheltie was having issues..
 
Sca's two teams both were second today! Tomorrow could be tough since we ran too fast in the morning and might get bumped to high :eek2:
 
So we did OK Sunday with the last race of Multi having a long shot of going to the final. We had to beat the other team (possible) AND get a time below 20.280 (very unlikely). Of course not all times were posted so that time needed might have been lower and one of our races was fast and might have been enough. In the first race our Jack Russell height dog decides to cross over and their German Shepherd decides orderve :uhoh: Well after things calm down they pull the GS and we had to pull our height dog. We consider a forfeight but decided to go with our backup height dog, Sca :lol: So our team went to 12" from 7" and had never run 12" before. Now the first race went to them even though their dog was mean because ours crossed first (not sure I totally agree) and the next one we were not even sure they would jump that height so off we go. Well they all did which was cool but we lost as would be expected as everyone slowed. Oh and the judge would not let us do one run with the added height (technically correct). Well we are down two and the third they fault so we beat them. Then somehow they complained and the line judge said they did not see a fault though the light triggered. So the judge took our victory and made us rerun that race. We then lost and they had 3 which was enough. Not a good way to end an otherwise great weekend.

Sca got his FM-Ch and we visited a bunch of Shelties including one who got his Hobbes (100,000 points) :cool:

Oh and there was a team from JAPAN! Only one was there when I got the photo.
