Thank you for sharing that. It has been 3 years since Bobby was diagnosed with TCC. He was peeing longer and more frequently. he had just turned 8 years old, and was living a wonderful life full of everything we love. We did not get a long goodbye, he was pts in 3 months from diagnosis.

And, this I must share....
he was having trouble in the competition ring, he would get up from a sit stay before I left the ring (these are the 3 minute with owner out of sight sit stays) and he just could not sit. He would stand up.
I should have known then to find out what was bothering him, because he was not a disobedient dog. I only saw it as a training issue and although I never did give harsh physical corrections, I sure told him I was displeased. Oh if only I could take those words and actions back. He couldn't tell me he wasn't sitting because he had a tumor on his prostrate...
Anyway, never assume. If your dog is acting out of character, there is probably a physical reason for it. Find out, for your dogs sake.
And does anybody smoke with their dogs in a closed in space, like a car or house? Stop it!
