Carolina Foothills Show Cluster

Well, we didn't go winners dog. But, Player did go first in his class over a very nice looking blue... who was being handled by Sunway. :)

Hey now, that's always a good feeling (going up over the pros) - he must've looked good, and you must have done a good job handling him. Way to go, Player! Is he entered today, too?

Shucks... you had to add the part about doing a good job handling him. I can't take the credit for that. :o At the last minute I freaked out when I walked in the building and there was a thousand people walking up and down the aisles. LOT worse on Saturday than it was Friday. I had Aleta Canady present him in the ring. And, no he's not in today... just Saturday. Here's the results if anyone wants to take a look. And, no Star Chaser didn't get it Saturday either...

aww, well, in that case, you did a good job as his owner by making a good decision for him. (and Aleta is a real jewel - she was set up next to us at ASSA last year.)

Hmmm...sounds like you need a tablet of Hydroxyzine in your pocket for YOU before going into a crowd to show.

Congrats to Player; and to you. If you were able to watch him during the judging this time; you should be able to get past your anxiety in the future to show him yourself next time. If you just couldn't bear to go into the building at all; or if you went in but couldn't watch while he's being shown you may want to talk to your doctor about a little something for anxiety to help you.

No criticism meant in this suggestion AT ALL. Its not the same; but for me I am fine speaking or singing in front of a crowd but when my son is singing for a big crowd I can hardly bear the tension. My right arm starts trembling and I get so cold, cold, cold.

Good job, Player!

And Ashley, that's cool that you had Aleta handle him. That's Lexi's breeder! Such a small world. :)

Sorry....I missed the thread entirely!

Seems Player had a pretty good day overall! Congrats!
