Thanks for all of the comments, it's been helpful! Unfortunately yesterday we discovered worms in his stool, so I guess we know the problem. Off to the Vet this afternoon. Not sure if this was from the BB food or what, I'm not really informed on how they get them. While I'm there we'll see what the Vet recommends for food, taken with a grain of salt of course

Sorry your puppy has worms. Puppies get worms from their mother, eating contaminated dirt, flea bites and eating contaminated stool.

Yeah, worms will definitely upset the system.

Puppy digestive systems are very sensitive, so the change in food probably isn't helping either. She wouldn't have gotten worms from the dog food, more likely she got them from her mother, as all dogs carry dormant parasites in their systems. Mother dogs certainly pass them on to the pups, which is why they're dewormed a couple of times before going to their new homes.

If his stool is just slightly soft, I'd say give it a few days to see if it gets better. Some times their little systems just need some time to acclimate.

If its really soft (no form at all or watery), then I'd cut back on the BB, maybe to 1/8 of a cup till the loose stools stop.

My Ginny is 5 1/2 months old and I switched her to Wellness puppy when she was approx. 12 weeks old. Her stools were on the loose side for 24 hours (I started the switch 1/4 Wellness to 3/4 Old food) and then she was fine. She hasn't had another problem since.

Both my girls are on Wellness and I've had excellent results. Especially with Sadie (she's 2 1/2 now), who had issues with severe diarrhea and vomiting with other foods.
