Chew proof toy box?

One of the things that Callan loves is to root through his toy box to decide what to play with. Unfortunately, the toy box in his xpen often becomes a chew toy too.

Does anyone have suggestions for a chew proof toy box? I'm at a loss. Plastic is out. So is wood or woven baskets. If I could find something the right size made of steel perhaps that would work. I
Maybe a turkey roasting pan? :lol:

Have not tried bitter apple yet. Maybe that's next.
 
we have a wicker basket that Toby & Trace used - has some chew marks...thinking stainless steel wire basket might be a better option.
 
I've googled around for a wire basket....I should be able to find one eventually in a kitchen/bathroom supply.
 
Barb - try someplace like Home Hardware, Home Depot, etc. They may have something that will work. Check the outdoor section too. Office supply company too like Staples.

Yeah...thought about the outdoor section too. Wire plant baskets....just remove the mulchy filling.

Much better than my turkey pan! Though it's the right size.....:yes:
