Does anyone feed pet mince regularly? The chicken butcher shop is selling pet mince made up entirely of chicken carcasses. It is only $1.50/kg (compared to the $7.50 I currently pay for chicken thigh mince or roo mince).
Atm the dogs get fed mostly roo meat, and I alternative with chicken mince and beef. They are all human grade so the meat is mostly muscle meat.
Do you think carcass mince is a good alternative to muscle mince? Would they be missing out on any nutrients? Does anyone have experience with feeding pet mince long term? If its just as nutritious enough I will prob switch to pet mince (will save me adding calcium to their mince) but I dont want their nutrient levels to go down, esp as they are both so active.
