I was just glancing at a 2004 issue of CR and was amused by some of the equipment they used.It is interesting to see how it has changed from then till now.One of the chutes had a dragon painted on the end with big teeth and a wishing well used as a jump. Then there was the sway bridge and a guy jumping over a tunnel to get to the end of the DW.To funny.

Sounds more like the fancy designs in horse jumping events - not that they have dragons and teeth, but almost everything has "stuff" around it. Flowers, shrubs, whatever.

It's definitely interesting to see how the equipment has evolved. I've only been involved in the sport for 3-4 years, and only in one venue, and have seen a lot of changes. Rubberized contacts, 24" weave poles, breakaway tire.
