Clicker Recommendations

I have 2 softer quieter clickers that I have and love. Especially when I'm in places I don't necessarily need everyone to hear the clicking (um, like at an agility trial, hehehe).

So, here are the two I have.

Clik-R: You can slip your finger through the loop so you won't lose it.

Karen Pryor's i-Click: I think it's this one.

I honestly can't say where you can buy them. Both of these that I have someone gave to me. I wonder how much it'd cost to ship one of them to you. I don't use the Clik-R one very much, too bulky. I was thinking, I could record how loud the two are so you can see if they're "quiet" enough. If you want a vid, let me know. I'll do it later tonight.

The Clik-R is available at PetSmart in Canada, that's where we got ours.

I'm looking for some recommendations on clickers that aren't too loud.

So far I'm on my 3rd clicker and all 3 have been so loud that it actually freaks Miko out a bit. (not so sure that's conducive to training) When I click he gets a bit startled and immediately starts looking around (usually at the floor) for what made the noise.

The 3 I bought were from PetSmart (house brand) and 1 from Petcetera (blue with an orange button)… All tooooo loud. Any recommendations on a quieter brand and where I might be able to purchase it? TIA!!!

I absolutely love the one I got from Clean Run. Let me see if I can find the link~
Just the right size,it fits nicely in your palm, not to loud at all.

LOL. I made a video. And by the second try, Koji was like, where's my treats. Let me paw you, etc. Too funny.

You should be able to hear it.

The first and red one is the typical plastic one.
The second and purple one is the Clik-R. It's a softer click
The third and blue one is the i-Click and it's softer and the click is a bit higher pitched.

I'd say go for the Clik-R since it's sold at Petsmarts in Canada. :)
