so this weekend was our club's obedience and rally trial.

On Saturday, I had Dixie entered in Beginner Novice and Team obedience (stays). She qualified and got her BN title. We only managed to put together one team this year so we got first place there.

I had Cranberry entered in Rally Excellent B and Rally Advanced B and he qualified in both classes- his first RAE leg.

On Sunday, I had Cranberry entered in Beginner Novice (no video:(()- he qualified and got his BN title and both Cran and Dix were in Brace. We were the only Brace so we got first there. Stays were better this time- both made it through the one minute sit stay. Dixie stood during the down stay so we need more work there....

I had Jocu entered in Rally Advanced- he amazed me and we qualified. It was his first time heeling off leash in a trial - I haven't done much in the way of obedience or rally with him since he got his RN last summer.

It was a good weekend even if cold and windy.....
:smile2:

Woowoo!!! First RAE leg, good job! Congrats on Dixie's BN too! Isn't team fun! We have a rally trial in a couple weeks and I've got two teams o shelties to play with, yahoo!

How about that Cran, what a dog! Go team and Brace to boot!

Oh boyy, Jocu is going to surprise you lots!!! Good dog! Cookies for everybody! Celebrate!

(You are now the Terrific Trio!) :D

thanks- we did have lots of fun. I had Cran on a team last year so I gave Dixie a shot this year. Both times, our team has practiced the recall from one end and then in the trial, the judge has started from the other end..... that messed Cran up last year and Dixie this year.

the brown dogs have had 2 legs for Beginner Novice for a while but I wanted to finish their Rally Exc first. We did try for their titles in PA but they both broke the sit stay. They did much better this weekend- their front from the recall was their worst part and I knew it was. After practicing drop on recall, Dixie was downing every time she came so I had to work on that this weekend so when she sat, I did not care that it was not directly in front of me. Cran also sat off to the side- we'll have to work on that too.

I could have entered Dixie in rally too but I think that would have been too much stress for me.......
