Has anyone ever used a product that helps speed up hair regrowth? Chance ripped out a good deal of hair out of Player's very tip of tail and I am afraid it is going to deem him unshowable for a good six months. :(

people on the forum are using Vibrant Pets...not sure how well it works and the turn around for new growth though. Is it a big area that was ruined?

I don't know how well this stuff works but I've had a few breeders tell me it does speed up the coat growth after a litter of puppies. It's a supplement called Gro Hair by Nature's Farmacy:

I will say I've used a number of their products now. They are all natural and I really like them. So it might be worth a try. I also use Vibrant Pets and would include that as part of your regimen. It's made a world of difference in the quality of my dogs' coats!

Good luck! Let us know if you try these how they work.

Wow looks great! Thanks... I'll try it... pulling out the card right now.

His tail tip is pretty much in a disaster. I hate that... as his tail is his one big fault. He takes after the majority of shelties these days and it is a bit on the short side. This just highlights things more. I'm fixing to give him a bath and trying to add some conditioner and volumizer to the bath and see if I can't make it look a bit better. He's entered in for a show the first of April. "gasp" It's a small one... I'm hoping I can work some miracle and be able to use the thinners to try to neaten things up. But, I'm afraid majors are out.

if its an all around judge you may be able to pull off the shortened tail...Ive seen some all around judges just about touch the dog:uhoh:
Funny story the person who teaches handling in my area has and shows Chows he said the last show he was at the judge was soo far away from the dogs he was examing he minds well have been in the next ring over:lol:
