Colors?

I am new to the sheltie world..But I am have been trying to research what color scheme my puppy has (we are getting him soon) I was thinking Tri color..but I am not sure. Can somebody tell me?

Hard to tell...but I would hazard a guess of shaded sable or sable merle.

Not a tri, but a sable of some kind would be my guess as well.

Sable and white. Tri colors are back dogs with tan points, like a Doberman.

Definitely a Sable; Shaded Sable or Mahogany Sable variety but definitely Sable.

I agree that he is a dark sable.....My forever pup was that. I personally prefer reds or golds, but the darks and mahoghany's also have a certain look. I guess I love all Sheltie colours! :lol:
