I am just about to order a ComfortFlex Sport Harness for my Riley and got stuck on size. His girth measures 24“ and he is pretty much out of coat. However, the lady selling them is a Sheltie breeder and seems to think a medium will be to large for my Sheltie as he is just over 16“ and weights 25lbs. Perhaps a Small or S/M would be a better fit? For those of you who use the ComfortFlex Harness, could you please tell me how big your shelties are and what size they wear? Thanks!

My girl is pretty much the same measurements. 16.5", 24.2lbs. She has a s/m comfort flex harness. She's 22" around the chest right now. The medium is going to be way too big. Our teammates have one and its huge on Missy. Wish you had a girl, I have 2 harnesses I bought for Flyball but she doesn't wear them anymore. I wouldn't mind sending you the one that she's only worn like, once. It's the berry color.

Also, the main reason you will want to go with the s/m is because while the part that goes around the chest is adjustable, the part that goes across the front is not. That's the part that will end up being too big.

Sca wears an S/M and while just under 16" he is 30lbs (very stocky) He B/C girlfriend wears an S/M and is smaller than him (just over 15" and finer boned) as does her brother who is bigger and stout.

Aw, I wish Spirit was a little bigger. She would probably look pretty in that harness. But she's only 12" and 12 pounds. Her chest is 17 inches.
Thanks again for the advice. We received our comfort flex harness about three weeks ago and the SM was the correct size. Best of all, we saw the chiropractor on Friday and got confirmation that the new harness is helping. It was the first time in years that Riley's shoulders didn't need adjusting.

Well now I want to try these harnesses. We've used a couple of different one's on Honey and although she seems comfortable enough once it's on, she hates them...and Mango is starting to whine and protest having one put on her too, plus when it is on, she keeps walking a little sideways!...Jess if you really have one that isn't being used I wouldn't mind buying used...
