Hey everyone! First off, I apologize if this is a re-post, but I wanted to get some feedback on Comfortis. Now that's it's been on the market for a bit, I was wondering what the initial response is? Is it good? Any reactions? I would like to switch to it, but the whole vomiting side effect thing scares me. My dog already has a sensitive stomach and it's hard to gauge whether or not he's working on a full stomach.

Callie has had no issues with it-seems to be working for us. We've been using it since June.
My only complaint is that it requires a prescription and it's very pricey compared to Frontline Plus or Advantix. With three dogs to medicate every month it can start costing....
My Vet offers it from his office but the price is about $30 more than I can find it on line. But still it's about double the price of Frontline Plus.

Where I get my comfortis it is CHEAPER than frontline, or advantix. and plus it is the only thing that actually works in this part of kentucky.
Ruckus has allergies and a sensitive stomach and so far (3 months) he has not had any issues with comfortis. Just be sure to give it with a meal.
Here frontline and advantix for Ruckus is about 17 dollars a month, but Comfortis is only 14 dollars a month. I am sure that price depends on where you live.

I do agree that it depends on where you live if Comfortis v. Frontline Plus (what i use now) is more or less expensive. For me, Comfortis is cheaper. I found a webstie that sells it for $55 (10-20lbs) for a 6 mos supply-less than Frontline plus. Where I live, I don't have a tick issue, so I can let that go.

Allergic Reaction to Comfortis?
Hi, I'm new to this forum and am considering using Comfortis. I've never had a flea or tick problem but would like to protect Sammy just the same. I live in South Florida and I've tried Frontline and Advantage in the past and Sammy had some sort of allergic reaction to them. Scared me so badly that I won't and haven't used them since. The reaction he had was elevated heart rate, panting, couldn't sit still, walking/scampering at a very fast pace throughout the house, etc. and didn't calm down for 4 hours. It has been two years since I've used anything and am curious to hear if anyone has had an allergic reaction to Comfortis.
