Confused, input please.

Sounds normal! In my house, its normally Indy that says "enough" to the play first. At that point, he will try to either hide behind me or any piece of furniture to shield him from Bacca.

I don't generally intervene. I just let them work it out. If they "bring it to me", I move away. You boys figure it out.

Sometimes you might hear a yelp. That's ok! That's just one dog telling the other he's gone too far. When that happens, the other dog backs off quick, in my experience.

There are times when they are "playing" that you think that they are going too far and that's gotta hurt. Believe me, your pups will eventually learn their limits, and your really dont' need to get involved. If you do, then you'll forever be playing referee.

I used this same strategy on my own (human) children, too...works great!!!
