Cratewear

ive looked at them in the past...I usually just throw a sheet over their crates..which has worked great until Six came along and ate the sheet...So now everyones crate is open on each side of his since he lost his cover privileges! :lol:I wonded if they would work where he couldnt pull it in and eat it...if you do get it let me know how it fits! I suppose I could sew a custom cover....but im not that ambitious...yet

I've had a LOT of crate covers over the years, but only two were commercially made. I made the others myself.

I had a "crate inhaler" Border Collie who had the same problem of pulling anything he could into his crate and eating/shredding it. I finally just put his crate under the kneehole of my desk and he lost his cover privileges permanently.

I've tried a lot of ways of making crate covers. I've quilted them by hand, crocheted, sewn, and knitted them. No one method works best. Bela has an old sheet thrown over hers, but not for long. I'm still in the process of decorating the house, and have some leftover fabric from the master bedroom curtains. Bela's crate lives in the bedroom, so it'll blend in a little better.
